The Great Barrier Wreath – Proactive Idea

The Great Barrier Reef is one of the natural wonders of the world, and like much of the rest of the marine environment, it’s buckling under the weight of plastic pollution. Everyone loves the Reef and wants it to thrive, but people feel powerless to help.

The idea is to provide a simple option to help save the reef in three different ways:

• Direct removal of plastic waste from the environment

• Financial contribution directly to a reef-related charity

• Publicly showing support for the cause.

Introducing The Great Barrier Wreath. Working with local artists, we’ll create beautiful Christmas wreaths made entirely from plastic waste destined for the ocean. Once completed, these Christmas wreaths will be made available on a dedicated microsite with 100% of the proceeds going directly to a reef-related charity.
